If you like bananas and chocolate together, this recipe is for you! I love making banana bread, it is such a comforting treat that is sweet but not too sweet and super moist. And my house smells so delicious every time I make it. Nuts can be a nice addition too.

INGREDIENTS
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup coconut oil
1/2 cup sugar (I like to mix granulated sugar with coconut sugar)
2 large eggs
4 ripe bananas
1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips (can be replaced by walnuts or pecans)
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Spray a 8.5 x 4.5 bread pan with a non-stick baking spray.
In a medium bowl, mash the bananas with a fork.
In a large bowl, mix flour, baking soda and salt.
In an other bowl, mix the sugar, coconut oil and mashed bananas.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and fold with a spatula.
Add the chocolate chips and mix a little more.
Pour into the bread pan and bake for about 50 minutes.
Take the banana bread out of the oven.
Use a small knife to go around the inside of the bread pan, turn the pan over on a plate and then put the banana bread right side up on the cooling rack.
Let it cool down a bit or eat right away plain or with a little butter on it.
Bon appétit!
